How Does Acupuncture Work?
During your consultation, our team will listen to exactly what's been bothering you. From there, we will determine a series of acupuncture points across your body that we believe can help. Some of these areas may be close to the affected areas, while some may seem far away. Once you're comfortable and the acupuncture points have been marked, we'll insert a series of hair-thin needles into these areas. Usually, this could include anywhere from 5 – 20 needles for a single session. In some cases, our staff may need to manipulate these needles by gently moving them in order to achieve the correct results. Lastly, after about 10 – 15 minutes, the needles will be removed and you will be free to go about your day.
